No one would play multiplayer on the go. Good luck playing an online shooter using your phone as hotspot. It’s a feature that a tiny fraction of users will ever try, against something that pretty much makes the whole thing a chore for the normal use case

yeah the 3ds looked old and had crappy hardware even when it was brand new... while the PSVita looked amazing (and still looks pretty decent, also thanks to the fantastic oled screen)

This is definitely a glitch without any doubts. The game is designed in a way that normally the player cannot access that place with child link, so yup, it’s a glitch.
