@animeman59: Tim and eric in a nutshell, bud.

@goatonastick: I tend to agree with you, I just wouldn't go quite as far. I think 'casual' and 'hardcore' exist on many mediums, but this may be more gray than it is in video games. A casual reader may only be familiar with The Da Vinci Code, a casual wine taster may only have entry level bottles, a casual film goer

@IvanDashSmith: All we want are gamer branded goods though! I live off of 36 packs of blue Mountain Dew in the hopes I can win another 360! :-p

@IvanDashSmith: I just don't like any phrase like that haha.

@PajamaSam: I know, I know. For shame.

I've been playing games for a long time, and I've never had an arcade experience.

Again, this is just my experience.

@interkin3tic: That's a good point I hadn't considered.

Damn it! Face Full of Wii was the name of a "movie" I was "producing."

@radinplaid: I know it's unreasonable, but I have a dream! Haha

@dragonfliet: It is my experience that gamer is more negative. The example I've been using is telling someone on a blind date your a gamer versus, say, an art-lover. I find it hard to believe that you think the reaction would be the same. I find that sad, and feel it's a "stigma" because the person who might react

@Demoskinos: It's more the lack of understanding I was referring to. I find it very pervasive.

@Mintyflesh: I agree, and tried to clarify a little here
