The gtx 680 is still a strong performer. I'd wait until the 1000 or whatever next line Nvidia calls it to upgrade. You'll likely be getting GPUs in that line more suited to 4k, with more VRAM, and maybe you'll end up with a card called 1080.

Hit by it too. I was pretty pissed till I thought about it. Then I came to the conclusion that 25% off of the regular is probably the better deal in the long run. Sure, I won't get the cool looking gold one, but 50 bucks isn't something to sneeze at.

KMart has a bunch of their Wii U games on sale right now as well, including Pikmin 3 and Wind Waker for $29.99. If you're not near a KMart, you can always price match elsewhere.

Don't forget Rock and/or Roll.

Why? Those who are buying them today should feel cheated but 3-4 years ago?

In Gen II, they had certain "IVs" for specific stats, but in newer games there is no effect on any other part of the Pokemon. (Except Spinda's spots, but who cares about that?)

Not really Its mostly just for bragging rights. Some of the shiny forms look cooler then the original colors though. Also I was never that into EV's and breeding either but this gen I found it to be very relaxing and fun, I don't even use the awesome poke's I've raised for competitive play :P

My first ever shiny Pokemon happened last gen, it was a shiny boldore. The first time it appeared I thought the game glitched and then I realized "mother of god I've found a shiny Pokemon!" Many fist pumps where thrown that day and now I'm proud to say that it has evolved into a gigalith.

Me too. Never seen a single shiny Pokemon in my entire career of being a Pokemon Master.

None of them Englishes is not correct either.

Seriously, why is everyone listing games instead of being bewildered by 'Tropical Dong'.

"Tropical Dong", you say? Go on...

But I think the reason people wind up with so many unplayed games is they buy games they were only moderately interested in when they launched just because they are cheap. They think they will get to them, but then just wind up playing newer games and never do. But, yeah, if you have the patience to wait months or

What of The Last of Us?

it really depends on your everyday use. I tend to go out a lot and have to wait or sometimes when i work the night shift, there's quite a bit of thumb twiddling when the computer is transcoding so i would have preferred the 3ds.. it helps if you get the circle pad because underwater fights are brutal. but the downside
