Three seasons is definitely pretty standard, but what’s weird(ish) here is that by the time the next set of episodes actually drops, Jodie Whitaker will have been the Doctor for five years, and three seasons is all we got out of it. It feels like we’ve spent most of this era of Who waiting to actually get our dose of

That Doctor Who rumour doesn’t surprise me at all, and isn’t nearly as controversial as people are making it out to be elsewhere on the net.

Yup. Jodie’s last episode almost certainly won’t air until 2022, so she’ll have been in the role a bit under four years, or just a few months less than Matt Smith and a few months more than Peter Capaldi. A fair few less episodes though (30 versus Matt’s 44 or Peter’s 40).

Disney & Star Wars say “timeline” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Probably meant “timeframe”, but one shouldn’t let words get in the way of journalism.

And this story shall also be told

Thank you! Seriously, the io9 writers need to learn a lesson from you in how to do their jobs.

“Trying to fund their way back home”?

These are good points. Late at night it’s easy to forget I’m on io9 and not reddit.

Star Command was a pretty solid show as I recall. That needs to be on Disney+ if it isn’t already.

After this long, she’s probably tired of having to give deep-dives into the galactic-political nuances to uneducated Outer Rim-types who just end up calling her a jedi anyway because they figure any not-overtly-evil space wizard using a laser sword fits the trope.

I think we’re headed more for “Golgafrinchan B-Ark” end than Hyperspace Bypass.

I swear, Rahul Kohli better not have been laying these exact clues down this whole time. By which I mean he absolutely should since he’s 110% who I want cast as Ezra.

I will make sure to teach my 7 month old daughter to not eat the eggs of lizard people...you fucking moron

“And if they refuse?”

It’s also, according to the Star Trek website, Einsenberg class.

You know what? That’d be worth it. Funding it would be an incredible act of performance art and funnier than most comedies.

It sure looked like it when seen side by side...

Yeah I’ve always been interested in buying their games for both the minis and as a gateway to DnD for my board game playing friends. However, each time I’ve looked at reviews or how they’re played it’s played it just looks like the same amount of rules with less exploration and fun.

I think that you can’t really review this correctly if you’ve played D&D because you are not the target audience. People who played D&D can just play more D&D.
