They’re suing over the use of the name, which they have trademarked, not the format.

It’s not the format or the concept, it’s the violation of the trademark: Choose Your Own Adventure. Those words in that exact order that contextually reference the concept.

You need to toss a physicist into the Society. I too nerdily wondered about this. It turns out that pressure melting wouldn’t produce a thick enough layer of water to stay slippery (and really requires too much pressure). For a while it was thought that friction melting was key. But friction on bulk ice won’t do it.

:O Kinda like the opening with YouTubing Ryan sounding like he’s talking about the doctor but he’s actually talking about Grace. I never considered the title at all.

Eh out of all the things to make it about, Space Marines are least interesting and most obvious. Now if it had been about Ciaphas Cain, HERO OF THE IMPERIUM, that would be interesting.

It looks terrible and a few years too late. Is the problem. There’s no way it becomes a thing.

Mortal Engines... hopefully it will get enough traction

INDIGO!

unsettling sound design to make it work?

The fact Jefferies tubes have gravity and they use turbolifts not grav-lifts or gravity-free tubes tells me that there is a physical constraint on how they build them. Now yes, I realize part of that is that gravity-free filming is obscenely expensive, requiring minimalist sets and renting an aircraft, but it would be

I always assumed Dilithium Crystals were Carbon atoms with half the proton’s and electron subsided into Subspace and chemical reacted as if it were Lithium and we were none the wiser about it until the discovery of Subspace. The Matter/Antimatter reaction was never a 1:1 ratio because you need you need some matter

Huh.

To be fair Captain Sisko installed gravity plating in his Bajoran Solar Sail ship. So it’s either very low power or passive artificial gravity.

I am one of those who has always considered the first movie Enterprise to be the best design of all because it’s faithful to the original and yet feels like a very natural yet slight evolution in terms of shape.

I’d put Grant Ward up there as a better villain. You already know Fisk was a “bad guy.” Grant Ward just came out of nowhere.

Snoke is not Sith.
