Avengers: The Search for Stark’ sounds like it could be either a fantastic Farscape reboot or the worst crossover I’ve ever seen or heard of. I really can’t decide which. :)

All six Stones were needed to erase half the universe: each played a part in the process, it couldn’t have been done if even one of the Stones was missing. The roles played by the stones:

Now playing

There is nothing a “deconstruction” of Picard could do that hasn’t actually already been done by the show or the movies. Hell, there was nothing in the movies that hadn’t already been done by the show.

Yes, I really like the idea of them applying different genre templates to the Star Wars universe. Here’s one I’d like to see: A group of young Jedi potentials with a few surviving Jedi in a remote wilderness setting - almost like a summer camp, if you will - become stalked by a masked, blade-wielding monster named

There are a lot of grown adults that still plays with toys.

Exactly. As well as because we know both the outcome and the danger is “minimal” doesn’t mean that it’s either non-existent or it can’t be covered well.

I like your idea, you’re hired!

...Not really, but someone with decision-making powers should really listen to you (and the others that have had similar ideas).

Maybe don’t hope for something to match what you have in your head and take it as it is or will be. That’s how we got the embarrassing TLJ spectacle.

Hopefully this will be up to my memories of my first read.

Cool, thanks for the info. Getting my gaming group of grumpy old men to learn a new rule system is always a chore, but I may give it a try.

Lightsaber combat nerd! LOL

I don’t see the Ewan McGregor rumor being that weird. Force Ghost Kenobi would be kind of a logical element for Episode IX. Wait, I can picture it now...

heh Yeah, I usually just group those two categories together to make things easier on myself. There’s soooo many “punk” genres. :P The book series sounds pretty alright, from what little bit I know.

... like assassinate the NPC they were hired to protect for no other reason than because they could.

Welcome to the fold, that is the exact reason why DMing is one of the most rewarding things you can do with friends. We just had an extended session at my place yesterday given we were all off work at the same time for once (yay holidays)!

I loved the Mortal Engines book series, easily my favorite book series. I also liked the Fever Crumb books.

“I principle there’s nothing wrong with this idea. There’s some great YA fiction...”

A line cut from Darmok, I presume.

Yep, specifically he has to have the TARDIS tell him that his ability to regenerate has been interfered with in “Let’s Kill Hitler,” when he should have known he couldn’t because he was keeping count. Also, River telling him to not use his regeneration energy on her was obviously written with him having one

I liked John Hurt’s performance in DOTD, it’s just wedging an unnumbered regeneration really unnecessarily mucks with the continuity. Nine shouldn’t have filled that role either because his is a new incarnation at the start of “Rose”. The War Doctor really should have been Eight.
