You two having a bit of a Thursday night alcohol intake and going on the internets? :D That's not always a brilliant combo. Dignity- and virtue-wise, that is. Carry on, gentlemen.
That's fair enough, but haven't you guys had several more wags to choose from a few years ago? I do believe the selection was there, but apparently sales weren't...
Aye, the front end is simply too busy. The rest of the car is adequate, the headlights are quite nice, but the rest of the front... Too busy with too many wild/awkward lines. Could work if spread out on the front of a bigger car. The i40 Wagon (Elantra Touring stateside?) barely pulls it off and even that has fewer…
Pfft, nice one. :D
Thanks for the link. :) It was... informative. Some good points in there.
I'm with the Huge Van... der. :D
I do believe the commentariat realises that not all Toyota owners are beige loving sheep. As we do realise that not all Toyotas are boring econoboxes. Credit where credit is due and what not. Your attitude, meanwhile, does leave something to be desired. There really is no need to come out swinging and taking shots at…
Pff, heartclick for you :D
I looked at the pic before reading the title and had the same thoughts. However, it does have some old Viper lines and I could see this being what Chrysler-Fiat has cooked up for the new one.
On the Acura wheel, the pairs of spokes are parallel to the imaginary line in their middle, which starts at the logo and is point-perpendicular to the wheel rim. On the new Viper, the spokes are at an angle to this imaginary line and gravitate towards it. Wheel design is fun. Also, no idea why I'm so anal this early…
This price is insane. I can't find a single one in my country over 3000 euro. So roughly third of the price. Crack pipe extraordinaire.
Nice RX-7. Very swish. (no idea why, but that popped into my head.) :) What version is that anyway? As for advice, dunno. May not be the coolest, but do some friends' cars and ask them for input and what they'd like to see on the drawing as if they're comissioning it. That way you'll have some experience working with…
Wanted to heartclick my southern neighbour for some time now. :) *click*
Hurrah for some Škoda love! :)
Regular service is key. Oil as per manufacturer or shorter intervals? :) Congrats on high mileage.
Well, to be frank, I do believe most folks mix theirs with diesel a bit and/or possibly splash some motor oil in there for lubrication, which heating oil provides less than diesel, I'm told. The splash of oil also shifts the colour hue of the mixture somewhat, which is supposed to look more like regular diesel and…
Wow, 600k is quite a number, even for an '80s vee-dub. Replaced any powertrain bits during lifetime?
Goes even quicker, actually. Wikipedia explains it quite fluently: Higher yet is the redline of a modern Formula One car. Regulations in 2010 limit the maximum engine rotation to 18000 rpm [1], but during the 2006 season, engine speeds reached over 20000 rpm on the Cosworth engine.
Where I come from (south central... Europe), it must be the Golf II Diesel. They've been around forever and are still favoured by anyone looking to spend bare minimum for transportation that seats 5 and has a boot. Just fill the tank and drive. And since alternative fuels are a big thing these days let me just tell…
