That’s amazing. I rode on one of those when I was 7 years old, visiting NASA for the first time in the 80s. I was generally jizzing myself from the excitement of seeing the Kennedy Space Center in real life, and that double-decker bus was just the icing on the cake.

They changed the animation in Season 3 for some reason to make it more cartoony:

I watched Shield in the beginning religiously, and not gonna lie, I had no idea she was even mixed. I thought she was 100% white, so for me she was just another pretty white woman, rather than “exotically” beautiful, if that makes sense.

Long, long history of that in Hollywood. Huge numbers of actors had to change their names to get famous, both for racist reason (their name was very “ethnic” and Hollywood hates that) or because their name was hard to pronounce. For example, for Jews, you’ve got Marilyn Monroe = Norma Jean Mortensen, Kirk Douglas =…

I’m disappointed that none of the Planet of the Apes characters appear to be Troy McClure.

Hopefully this will be a great Star Trek series in the same way that Galaxy Quest is a great Star Trek Movie

AVP and AVP2 are trash but Predators is right up there with Predator 2 as being not as great as the nearly unbeatable original, but a fuck ton more entertaining than most movies out there in the genre. Hell, I would hold it as better than any of the Alien movies past Alien and Aliens.

Fuck that noise. Predators was good!
