Sounds like a plan, but of all the proud people that must abandon their homes and accept a new culture, you want those from the motor city to drive on the wrong side of a road? I suppose nothing quite says "ya dun fucked up" quite like that :)

I just picked up a water pump for my E30 at O'Rileys the other day. Sure, it cost 50% more then any of the half dozen retailers and it wasn't a brand name, but it did the trick in a pinch.

I think everyone else has the "why we shoot injured deer" bit covered. The only addition I'd make is that cause cause internal damage and bleeding. They don't cause cuts that can be easily assessed and bandaged. if the deer didn't dsoon the next few hours, it'd have been eaten.

Not the death of all car culture, but perhaps the death of pieces of it. The "special purpose built sports cars" are unobtainium for most people. We get by modifying well built sedans for relatively little money. Do we really think the Spec Miata series would exist today if only people that wanted to

Eh. We have some extremes going on here. No, a Porsche doesn't need to be a person's first car for them to be an enthusiast. However I strongly believe that no matter how unsporty the car is, it still needs to convey SOMETHING of the potential for a good time in a car. Many cars do not hint at this, and so the drivers

I don't know how the ring works, but where I'm at the clubs that rent the track have fire and paramedics standing by. in case of a wreck we are told to stay in our cars and obey the flags for whether to proceed or stop. Now, if I thought I could get my car off track, and get to the accident without putting myself in

OR the guy has a better understanding of automotive architecture and chemistry, perhaps combined with hours of scientific experimentation.

To add to what others have said, I've always believed the straight six to be the epitome of BMW not because they can't make any other great engines. In fact their greatest engines are arguably not straight six. no, the reason it's the epitome of BMW IMHO is for two reasons:

I'll start by stating I don't think everyone should be forced to use iOS, so I think it would be great if it weren't tied to a specific OS. However, I see no reason why vehicles can't provide an interface that maps to an iOS device if the driver chooses. Whether you decide to upgrade or not, my phone still stands a

I'm not going to justify the cops actions if the dude getting tackled was seriously hurt. However, for the sake of my argument, I'm going to assume the choke hold did not actually choke, and was purely a way of restraining the guy in a way that wasn't likely to hurt him.

This. I have 3 siblings. 1 doesn't own a car. One does own one, but doesn't know how to drive stick (like, never tried, despite a stick being available growing up) and the 3rd thank goodness knowns how to drive a stick.

I would love to see the following numbers, even if just rough estimates based on a single car:

As long as the driver ends up paying less to operate the car, I have no problem with electric cars paying their share of the road tax in another form.

That depends. Is the ad about acting like monkey school?Do the advertisers know that black men are far more likely to want to act like monkeys? Because if both those are true, that's totally legit. You advertise to your costumer base, or to the costumer you hope to get. You do that by making the viewer identify with

I like (and have heard) your argument before, but I don't think it applies here. They are trying to sell a car by highlighting a feature. Part of advertising is to get a potential costumer to identify with the problem and the person having the problem, to convince them they need the solution. If they (incoming made up

I always used to think these lyrics were "the heart brings you back," but it's not. If I had read the title of the song, perhaps I would have known that.

Indeed, this is the case. It's hard to see when looking directly at the subjects, but if you watch the shadows it becomes pretty clear.

I like how, as he's falling into the hole, the two guys that were trying to help him are all like "fuckit" and turn away.

The only counter I have for being 100% honest is when a cop is fishing. A cop may pull you over for a burned out tail light, but he still may ask you "Do you know why I pulled you over?" will result in more then a tail light warning if you answer with "Because I was doing 45 through that school zone a quarter mile

Frighten them? If someone should be stopping, they should bloody F@#$%ing stop. If they miss the previous lit up stop signs and it takes this thing to get them to stop, they can "panic" stop all day long. I won't care, because I'll be stopped or slowing down at the first sign.
