As someone working in the Technology industry where automated testing has become the defacto standard/bar to reach in software development (basically writing code that executes code and tests the results) - why isn’t this being done in gaming for monotonous and basic, but critical tests on things like:

This is probably better for Windows users than the others as there is Mac OS X Homebrew package for android-tools and Linux distros package those tools in their managers as well

Did you really just say that. Metric is literally the standard EVERYWHERE professionally and almost everywhere (world wide). IT, Science, Medical, Military, etc all use metric as their standard unit of measurement, the only place that doesn’t use metric measurements are we, the Americans.

That’s why there are two branches of Congress, the House and the Senate. The Senate is strictly 2 Senators per state. House Representatives are based off population. I believe this is done to keep large population centers in the US from bullying around the smaller ones while at the same time.

Good list, though I have to disagree with FF14.

I recognize not everyone can afford this, but if you want a high end router/wifi access point, I would suggest going with Ubiquiti brand business level equipment. Provides better coverage, faster speeds, lasts longer, and only costs a little more than those high end “gaming” routers. Heck, I know a few people that

I have not had any major issues with sound on desktop centric distros unless I’m doing something out of the ordinary. Granted I use laptops primarily, so accounting for things like 5.1 and 7.1 speakers is not something I’ve tried. I only ever worry about the laptop speakers and headphones/headsets. (I also make an

Actually the motif from TFA is played in various ways in The Avengers, CA: WS, and AoU. I can’t remember about Civil War

I do, however, wish Colleges would stop requiring very specific types of file formats for documents/papers that are unique to Office. I know several people (myself included), public schools, and even businesses that have switched to Google Docs or use a hybrid. From a teaching standpoint, a school should be teaching a

I never said their marketing team did anything of the sort, my only point is that it was possible. There are a lot of backend politics that play into business. In the tech/gaming world what is told customers is rarely accurate due to fears from the business side of losing sales if the truth about a product or even

1. I work in technology. I’ve been in the situation where we told Sales or Marketing NOT to print/publish/sell something the way they did and they did it anyway. Don’t act like this never happens.

And

Or it could simply be that your Video Card’s drivers don’t support OpenGL 4.5 features needed to run the game. As a Linux Engineer/Developer myself, we limit what we are willing to support as well, and my work is usually significantly LESS complex than gaming requirements tend to be.

This is actually quite normal for today’s development process. The problem that consoles run into is that their certification process and physical media cause hiccups and actually conflict with today’s development practices and processes.

That’s all bogus perception. Are you telling me that Developers who put the same amount of work into a game as a PC or Console does, they have to sell it for less just because of the platform? That makes no sense. FFD is still a console/handheld quality level game, it was priced such.

Yes, it’s coming out on Win/Mac/Linux as well. They are working on a Beta for Windows users that should be out soon.

It’s probably important to note that popular mainstream distros also have Raspberry Pi images (mostly for the Pi 2 B and newer). CentOS 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and newer, and Arch are a few.

Only real benefit here is that if you are using Raspberry Pi for standard server tasks (I have one setup as a DNS server), CentOS and

I love that you miss/ignore (not sure which) that it is also getting a Mac/Linux port, which makes up a combined 10% of the Desktop now (and growing) - no small number:

There’s also a point in ROTJ during a cut to Admiral Akbar ordering an assualt on the Super Star Destroyer and you can see a Mon Calamari Cruiser decimate an Imperial Star Destroyer.

They are to a certain extent. They are only enforceable up to a certain point. I’ll just quote the guy I know that is a lawyer:
