I'm not sure how much I share that opinion. I work as a Sys Admin and despite great anti-virus coverage (we originally had Kaspersky Enterprise and now we use BitDefender Enterprise) and great common sense among our users, we still get malware attacks that infect our desktops on a regular basis.... malware hidden in

From an implementation point of view - all the hardware has openGL, most has DX (aside from mobile). Problem comes in with the Proprietary Software on the Consoles.

Don't worry about a SEGA path. Last I read, from Mr. Pachter (analyst), is that Nintendo has enough money in the bank to keep making Hardware AND fail at it, for 50 years before they'd have to go SEGA's route

It has nothing to do with the WiiU's Power. If it did, Unreal Engine 4 wouldn't be on Mobile or Web Platforms either, but it will be.

DX11 support doesn't mean anything. DX11 only applies to XBox and Windows, doesn't apply to Mac, Android, Web (Chrome/Firefox), Flash, PS4, iOS, etc.

Sounds awesome, but $1500 for portability? No thanks. My Laptop is more powerful than that - I can game and work on one device and it only cost me $800. Cheap by comparison. Bring down the price and I'll rethink it, otherwise, this Razer Device like their other gaming Laptops/Computers is way overpriced for what I

Can't seem to get it to work on my Nexus 4. Just hangs with a white screen when I tap the LinkedIn Login button

I had Jackal as a kid.... and it was called Jackal, not Top Gunner.

Dropbox is only officially available as a package when used with Nautilus (most common File Manager in Linux Distros). And for some reason they didn't do the 2.0 features for that version.

I see what you mean, however, due to COD and BF's overuse of Desert combat locales (and Tatooine being a desert planet), there's not much they can do without completely changing the established look of the planet

1. You bought Alienware. Crap Brand.

Um, wrong. You only ever have to spend that much for the very top of the line gfx and hardware. Most people (myself included) that spend that much on a PC or Laptop use it for other kinds of tasks. My $500 Computer boots into Windows Automatically, into Steam Big Picture instead of the Windows Desktop, Plays my

You do realize that PS+ requires a Yearly membership and if you ever drop it, you lose the "free" games?

Everything has documentation, just not all in the man format. I'd have to look it up again (have to for the RHCSA), but there is a docs directory for just about everything else

yum > apt-get

The only problem with disabling the Java Browser plug-in is the surprising amount of "Secure" websites that need it. My banking website requires it for some online functions (not all), Amazon EC2 Requires it for directly accessing any server instances/VMs you run, just to name a few examples.

You can, but you'll have to play a game like PlanetSide 2 to see battles like that. BF3 doesn't have the Server Infrastructure for that.

The Internet Infrastructure in the US isn't ready to stream HD games across the country. Sure OnLive does it, but I've tried it out and most of the time the video quality takes a huge hit due to latency and/or poor connection (depending on where you're at). Right now, Europe and Japan/China have better (and faster)

My mistake - I read it as you saying you wouldn't be able to afford a PC in general.

PCs are generally higher cost upfront than consoles (Primary reason: Console tech is outdated on launch AND it's sold at a loss), but lower long term cost.
