I had a '72 BMW 02. One time on new years eve I missed a petrol stop and the nwxt one was quite far away. The needle on the petrol gauge went into the red zone, through the red zone and out of the red zone on the empty side. So apparently it didn't need petrol after all and I didn't get in trouble with my then

Because lemons and cookies. It comes with Alfa's wonderful 2.5 v6. The manual has a transaxle lay-out but you knew that ofcourse. And as JC and his two wise men say: "To be a bona fide petrolhead at some point you have to own, or have owned an Alfa Romeo."

Roll back roof. For a moment I thought this was about a special roof that rolls the car back after you end up up side down.

Or with smaller tail lights:

Not everyone likes their cars big n slow har har har ;-). Alfa understood.

This one. The Giulia is not love at first sight, but when I entered the Alfa world I started to appreciate it more and more. Even to the level that when I needed a new daily driver I considered buying one. Problem here is the climate, it wouldn't survive many winters with salt on the roads. So then I would need a

The other day at the petrol station, there was this dude with an Aztec. My girlfiend opened the door of my little Alfa so I said 'where are you going?'. She didn't say anything, but just got in that Pontiac. They drove off into the sunset...

Where have I seen it before?

Here are some pics of my trip to Cuba last year:

Renault Goelette:

Ah Jocelyn.... She was my first car. I bought her while backpacking through Australia in 2000. She was a 1986 big yellow Ford Falcon Stationwagon with roobar. I got her from a fellow backpacker who had to leave the country and paid 1600 OZ dollars. She came with mattress, cooking gear and all I needed to travel around

Last year around this time they were on a strike too. I rememeber, because my flight from Spain to the Netherlands (flying over France) got cancelled. This week I have that same flight scheduled again... I guess they can't just fly around France.

A friend of mine has one. For some reasons, if you have driven one, all you see from Auomatch Toms comment is DOOOO ITTTT. The rest of the text become sort of blurry and illegible.

I had one of those too. In third gear it didn't drive to well, but hey it's cool to have a working gearbox. Next time I build it I should try to put the engine in front of the rear axle.

I saw quite a few in Cuba last December. They made a nice contrast with the big yank tanks. I captured a few:

Can you switch of the trunk light in an A3?

If you say "It's quicker if you go via Columbus Avenue", it could tell you to "Leave me alone, I know what I'm doing."

Kitten, help me out!
