Kind of reminds me of my girlfriends nephew. He got so upset about something really important (I can't remember what) that he slammed his blue €2,- plastic spade onto a chair and broke the spade. That made him more upset, as he loves spades.

I'm not sure if everything in the engine compartment is ok. The thing I have doubts about is the black box on the left side of the engine. It looks like an air filter house, but the outlet of it is not connected. Also, I'm not sure if it should be there, but I'm not familiar with the injection versions of this engine.

I'm glad there are more people who think like you. Otherwise I would never have found a 12 year old Lancia for 850 Euro. If I would have bought a Volkswagen for that price, it would at least have twice the mileage and double the rust. And it was quite reliable too.

Actually these cops were just being helpful. There was a party in the area with a lot of youngsters in the street secretly trying to get drunk. It's wise to keep your windows closed in that situation.
