@LeadfootYT: Same year we put people on the moon. And we haven't been back there in over 35 years either. Just sad.

@Sprzout: My first thought is when the new Mustang was introduced in 2005, they digitally overlaid Steve McQueen's face on another actor for the 'cornfield' commercial.
Handsome phone.
Wasn't raping Indiana Jones enough for you George? Now you want to rape the dead bodies of actors? Just stop it.
@Zanzan42: Yup, Horton Plaza really jump started it all. In the 1950s, downtown San Diego was where all the department stores were in the County, and where everyone shopped. By the late to mid 60s, the Mission Valley and suburban malls had drawn that business away, and downtown was left vacant and rundown. Horton…
@GranMastaB614: This post deserves to be meme-ified.
@Gawain23: San Diego had a similar issue with 5th Avenue. As late as the mid 80s it was porn theaters, drugs and prostitutes. We rezoned it, gave incentives to businesses, and since the early 90s it's been the new urban core of our downtown. The best restaurants, office space, and shopping/entertainment are all…
@fauxtronic: And it looks like they're using it to keep an eye on their slaves?
That's right mom, get me some new clothes, but keep your ass in the kitchen making me food while you do it.
What's killing this show more than anything else is the dribble of a couple episodes, a six month break, dribble of a few episodes, six month break, etc. What ever happened to a 22 episode TV season? That, you know, ran new episodes for 22 weeks in a row?
@tralfaz23: Rush found in Destiny's computer some background radiation / signal that the Ancients believed was a sign of intelligence existing at the same time the Big Bang occurred. So Destiny's mission was/is to meet that intelligence - God if you will.
@sirnicolai: I thought that was from his magnetic boots.
@rockboy04: Bravo.
@Justin Reich: How could it benefit from a Swedish redesign? Three words: Swedish. Bikini. Team.
@goatsitter: Scoff 1: Scientific and geologic evidence show the Earth to be much older than the Bible states.
@Anthony Farson: Gizmodo is a science and tech blog. And the proposed Ark scoffs in the face of both science AND technology.
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.4: Hey, leave my town alone.
@sicboi: The first five episodes have been great, so don't let the writing staff change your enjoyment of the first season. Even if season two blows, think of season one as a great seven hour movie with the kind of character development you can't find in a single theatrical zombie movie.
@The Lab: Thank you for your post.
Saw the show about four years ago. I'd never seen the movie, and really, it wasn't necessary to enjoy the show. Really fun stunts and pyrotechnics.
