Yes. The father admitted to kicking the cat in anger. Numerous articles have already clarified that the baby pulled the cat's tail, the cat delivered a swipe that resulted in a minor scratch that needed no medical attention, and then the father kicked the cat. People are clearly blowing the incident out of proportion

Yet people are still going on about how "the baby needed medical attention" and "what would you do if your baby was viciously attacked??!!" Completely ridiculous.

Right?! People were talking as if some mountain lion tried to eat the baby's face and the baby need a face transplant. Pshh, it was one tiny scratch that barely left a mark.

The baby didn't need medical attention and the kick came after the scratch happened.

You are not alone. I also find it to be a bit insulting. I'm all for this woman being happy but I can't support her marrying her dog.

Thanks. Can't believe people are making this out to be like the cat went all Hannibal Lector on the baby.

Did you even read the linked story? It says right there the baby didn't need medical attention. I'll link that one for you too.

Thank you! Everyone seems to be under the impression the cat went kill bill on the child. It was a tiny little scratch.

It's really bothering me that a lot of commenters keep referring to the scratch dealt out by the cat as an "attack" or a "mauling". If anyone had bothered to read the links or watch the numerous video interviews with the family, they would know that the baby pulled the cat's tail which resulted in the cat swatting the

And I feel like a lot of commenters, including yourself, are imagining some vicious 20 minute attack where the cat tried to rip out the baby's throat. The baby pulled the cat's tail, the cat scratched which resulted in two minor pinpricks on the forehead (check out the video, you can barely see the damn things), in

The baby did not need medical attention! It had two tiny pinpricks on it's forehead! It's really bothering me that a lot of commenters keeping saying the cat attacked or mauled the baby. It did not, the baby got scratched after pulling the cats tail. Nothing to kick a cat for.

Everyone keeps saying the cat "attacked" the baby. It didn't, it scratched the baby after having it's tail pulled. It only attacked the father after it had been kicked. I've read 3 different articles about this and each one states that the baby needed no medical attention. There's even a video showing the results of

Ecxept, no, it wasn't unprovoked:

It didn't just flip out, there are several articles where the father says that the baby pulled the cat's tail.

I agree with you. The kid pulled the cat's tail and it reacted in defense, it shouldn't have been kicked after the fact. It's evident from the video that it was just a minor scratch. They basically just taught their kid it's ok to do whatever they want to an animal.

Um, no, the baby did not need medical attention:

"...he no longer lets me do videos with men"

I completely agree with you. It's completely obvious from the video that the child started the altercation. Don't know why they are making it out to seem as if this mother just attacked the girl willy nilly. I hope she pleads self-defense.
