What’s with athletes and posting text statements on Instagram? Is this a thing for a reason?

Again, the nerd hypocrisy is staggering. If this was EA, or Activision, or pretty much anyone else, you’d be lining up at the pitchfork & torch store. “They always release games like this,” and “They fix... well... most of the bugs,” are excuses, not a license to treat your customers like unpaid testers.

You fucking hypocritical nerds. If this was EA, you’d be up in arms.

Watching the Cowboys get fucked by the officials last week (when they conveniently allowed the Seahawks to not-call a second timeout to avoid a too many players penalty), I was wondering: How long is it until we see a coach in the NFL (head coach or otherwise) go Woody Hayes on an official.

It’s Adam and Eve, not Adam and E4.

That’s actually one thing that I’ve liked about baseball: They’ve avoided the pressures of BIG FAMILY in their marketing. Heck, the current set of ads running are Vines including Joey Bats’s batflip, Cubs fans taunting St. Louis fans with the “W” flag, and Mets fans taunting Cubs fans with a goat.

Coleman’s camp has announced they have no idea when or if his client will hear a response from the NFL.

Good Kinja.

Sean Casey is truly one of the good guys.

Things worth complaining about on the Internet:

And let’s not forget the people who get filled with righteous indignation when people don’t stand for the religious jingoistic anthem.

I’ve never played it before... should I start playing Destiny now?

This sounds like a good rule that I’m way too timid to ever propose.

When the Dodgers got rid of Mat Latos, their WFAOFPIP* went down significantly, so I don’t see them having the chemistry and grit that’s needed in the playoffs.

Yes. They were all hopeful that Jimmy Clausen and Matt Forte would lead them to a huge upset. One guy had a bet on the game for the Bears to win. Not cover the spread. WIN.

They’re not smart people.

I watched the Seahawks-Bears game with a roomful of Bears fans. I’m not sure what was worse: Watching them slowly descend into Jaguars-fan levels of acceptance, or the incessant babbling of Phil Simms.

I went to a wedding with a friend-who-I-wanted-to-be-more over Memorial Day. It was a mutual friend’s wedding, but a lot of people didn’t go or even get invited.
