I too, was stuck on the miles.  And the lifter tick.  No Dice.

I-40 does, US 40 doesn’t

US 40 is not the same as I-40. It runs further north; and was one of the first federal roads.

Still better than Spirit Airlines.

Nah, that's where the high-beam switch goes.

counterpoint: center arm rests are amazing

Very interesting, and very cool. I have NEVER seen this. Is it possible this was only a thing in Texas or out west?

It’s because you only drive trucks that you think they have things like “latest greatest tech” and “decent mpg”. They do have power, but with a few exceptions, it is towing power, not driving power. Comfort is true at the top end, but I do not find most base model trucks to be more comfortable than most base model

I have daily driven full-size trucks for 5 of the last 8 years.  They just keep getting better and better

1st gear: JD Powah is shit. I get that its not easy to come up with a good measure for full vehicle quality, but their methods do not weight actual quality issues differently than annoyances.

My wife’s Nissan has that birds eye camera too, I think they are getting pretty common. Only part of that car I like.

People who buy trucks.

Look, they still went places when the steering was shot, engine down to 7 cylinders, and most of the syncros in the transmission failed.

This is it. Just as those of who are self employed well know...when there’s money there’s no time..when there’s time there’s no money.

2nd: while I agree that timing was there to work on "empty" roads, it's never as simple as just saying quit working on project A to move to project B. Projects take planning and even with normal funding.

yeah, these are the kinds of things that cast JD Power in a questionable light (IMO.)  things like the IQS and VDS are actual surveys, but reports like this smack of being rather arbitrary. Or tone deaf, as you point out, not considering what the customer for a particular vehicle expects.

The wheels are named after famous wrestling moves. Goldberg's Jackhammer, DDP's Diamond Cutter, and...well, lots of people do a moonsault nowadays, it's a backflip body splash, generally from the top turnbuckle. I don't know who popularized it.

TRX is actually a trim level they used on the DR gen truck iirc

Man is the post light on details.

I’m honestly not sure who is keeping the time switching alive at this point. Seems like everyone I’ve ever talked to hates it.
