Beautiful or not, I’m still trying to wrap my head around why you would do this. I mean, I’ve been bored at times, but but I’ve never been so bored that I’ve considered tackling a project of such questionable value.

See my reply above. Yes it is...

5 minutes at a gas station vs. two hours at a “fast” charging station. The complaint has always been about refueling times. A 25% increase in travel time is a significant downside.

1.I lose about 25% with that kind of load.

But 0 wrecks on a CarFax doesn’t automatcially mean 0 wrecks, there have been a number of instances where a car was sold with a “clean Carfax” meaning no accidents only to find out later that car was indeed in an accident but the incident wasn’t reported through the databases that CarFax pulls from.

My thought is that FCA could clean up by going smaller than a 3/4-sized pickup. I think an honest-to-God mini pickup, with work-ready specs, low lift-over height and short- and long-bed option to account for volume, if not weight.

Cats always drag stuff you don’t want into your house.

That’s the problem, you can get a bigger, more capable truck for the same money. There were plenty of Gladiators at the local Jeep dealership for well into the $50k range. That’s 3/4 ton truck money. I love the idea of a Wrangler pickup priced to compete with midsize offerings, not so much priced against 1/2 to 3/4

Yeah, Oshkosh owns Motor T’s ass. My battalion had three JLTVs get deadlined for mechanical failures at 29 Palms, and then another eleven get deadlined for a safety recall, leaving us in the middle of an exercise with 60% of our normal complement of JLTVs and having to fly a team of three Oshkosh mechanics out and

Good, fast, cheap — pick any two, or sometimes only one. Let me give you a perspective from someone who works inside the system.

MREs are very much not going to give you diarrhea.  It’s very much the opposite.  They’re dense with relatively low fiber, that’ll clog you up.

it’s a fun word that’s not used anywhere nearly often enough.

Oh sure. None of us have ever been on a back road with no houses and thick tree cover before. Come off it, man. If you use a light bar responsibly, fine, but don’t claim you got a special kind of dark in your part of the country. My HIDs light up any road just fine whether I’m driving past a farm or a mcdonalds. Your

The mid-row Stow and Go compartments will hold 120 bottles of beer, FWIW.

You usually get two pedals when you buy a bicycle.

It depends on the mod.  For desirable mods and “waiting for the right buyer”, you can recover up to 50% of the cost.  Most mods add no value.  Some subtract value.

Since it’s a truck that will be used for actual truck things, get the 2019 one.

Uncalled for. They don’t come to where you work and knock the broom out of your hand.

Claire’s or the Jeep’s?

Close... Amish and Mennonite are different Anabaptist (Christian) sects. The Amish drive buggies and eschew all modern cons while the Mennonites adopt certain modern things as they see fit, like cars. I don’t think they do the black bumper thing anymore, but they definitely did in the 40s/50s when they started
