Besides holding a big drill in my hand, the other thing that makes me feel tough is slapping a big battery in the bottom of that big drill which a nice satisfying click. Gently placing it on an inductive charger won't feel the same at all.

Honestly, the question (to me) is do you really need inductive charging to begin with? I get where you're coming from but having a power point close enough to you so frequently that your driver is constantly charging kinda defeats the purpose of using a cordless tool.
