Yep. But always more expensive than selling the 2wd and buying the 4wd. Kinda like buying a house or buying one built.

I agree with you but what are my options? Rent a truck when I need it? I make a trip over a week twice a year and 2 or 3 long weekends. Rental costs would be thousands of dollars extra a year. That doesn’t count the numerous other times I use the bed. Yes, most times it is empty but it’s not worth buying a second car…
The key word missing is “relative”.
I don’t care what it looks like....as long as there is only one.

LOL....this is funnny! We always did this when we were deployed in the field. And I retired 13 years ago. It’s a mantra we lived by, you slept whenever you could. To go along with, you eat whenever you can, etc. And I’m sure that mentality went back to the Roman legions. But you can bet your sweet ass that reveille…
But he also said it goes “Straight through my hometown of Columbus” which narrowed it down.
Really? Never heard of Champion? How about Generac? I agree with you that a Honda is very well made but I would honestly buy a Yamaha before a Honda, if my life depended on it. The Champions are great work horses. My father has one that is 7 years old and he uses it all the time.

Da fuck do I want that for? I don’t want Detroit above me, so below me.
The first brand new vehicle I bought was a p/u without a bumper. A 1988 Jeep Comanche with a 4cyl/4sp. No rear bumper but it it did come off the lot with a sweet 2x4 bolted to the end of the exposed frame rails! I stained it dark oak and it lasted for a year or two. It also lacked pwr steering, power brakes, A/C, a ra…
Yep, that’s what the article said.
This...oh so much this. Jalops wonder why US trucks sell so well. Because people see them as having everything: The latest greatest tech, power, comfort, utility, and decent mpg.
Same here and her Nissan is a 2015. Not exactly the latest-greatest tech. Which goes to show how these surveys get the results they do.
Counter-Counterpoint: Ram 12" screen still has knobs/buttons. Best of both. I still wouldn’t pay $3K extra for it but some certainly do.
And the technology that is introduced here will probably end up in the other 1500s next year. Trailer steering knob, the HUD, and the electronic rear view mirror.
All the big three have one major flaw in their new tailgates. They all use a damn electronic release vice a manual handle/latch.
Sat in the Lowes parking lot yesterday and watched somebody use it. They lowered the smaller inner gate and slid some long boards in the bed. Worked perfect.
Just because they emailed Tom doesn’t make them a Jalop. I know this is difficult to understand, but there are people who look at cars as a necessary evil. They really couldn’t care less. And that is why the beige Camry is the most popular tool in the world.
I also feel we need more training. I’ve been trained and have been a firearms trainer most of life. There are plenty of folks I would never pass that never the less, are legal gun owners. Scares the hell outta me.
Oh that’s just mean.....but hey, since David is busy in Germany, where exactly did you see this FC?
