Yeah, good luck with that mpg. The 2019 Grand is rated at 24 for the diesel and 21 for the 3.6L. It all comes down to the real mpg of the diesel. Which is why diesels flop in so many applications, no great improvement.

Huh? Going from C terminal to the B terminal there is a set of stairs right in the middle between the escalators. I take it every now and then when I am in a hurry.

coughbullshitcough...they just didn’t want to spend the money on a redesigned fuel tank.

No offense but your math doesn’t add up.... (I used AAA avg gas/diesel pricing)

It depends on where you live and the $ difference between gas/diesel. Simple math, take the (cost of gas/by the mpg)*miles driven per year=annual gas cost. Do the same for diesel, subtract A from B for a savings. You can add $50 a year for DEF to the diesel costs. How many years will it take for that savings to equal

Most wanted manuals for the durability aspect. I had friends swapping in GM turbo 400s in Jeeps back in the ‘80s because they were more durable than some Jeep manuals.

on the two-door Wranglers Jeep just wouldn’t be able to fit a big enough fuel tank “for customer needs,”

That only applies to the big truck diesels. The extra maintenance makes up most of the difference.

Wanna walk? Take the stairs which always adjacent to the escalator.

Actually, Ford and Chevy have already started doing this. GM has a remote camera that attaches to the back of the camera so when you in the electronic screen, the trailer is invisible. And they already display camera views from the side mirror cams.

38 miles on California hwy. In a 1984 CJ7 with 4.10 gears. Really made me hate a clutch.

lol....yes! A CC comment, awesome. I always envied Dan Tanna myself.

Definitely a good option. Nothing wrong with the 2.7L at all.

That’s what I mean, your garage ain’t cutting it. Find a nice, large 3+ bay heated/cooled garage with an apartment upstairs. Live the dream that we cannot so we can envy all the space and your ability to work on different Jeeps at once, 365 days a year. You can use it to write all sorts of maintenance stories and

Why you don’t look for a garage to rent, with an apartment loft where you can sleep, is beyond me. Saw one around me that had three large bays with a lift in one of them, and a one bedroom apartment upstairs cheaper than any of the houses. Damn near caused a divorce. Luckily, it was rented out when I called.

oy-vey...the first time dropping one of those monstrosities damn near killed me. That bitch ain’t fat but she be heavy....

And just for you, I did the math. Comparing a Hemi to a Diesel, if you drive 24K a year, it would take 7.2 years for the break even point. I used the avg cost of fuel and basic EPA numbers plus the cost of DEF. Of course you would also have a truck with 172,800 miles on it so the higher value of a diesel won’t really

I don’t know, the Ram V6 gets great mpg and can have better towing than a 2011 Hemi! Towing 7700 lbs in a 1500 is probably the most an average owner will need. Than it has great mpg the rest of the time. Kinda like the Ford Eco but without having to pay extra.

I really hate to say it but what a waste coming out with a small diesel. It just doesn’t add up when you have to pay $3K more and the payback is so long. Now, if I was using it on a long commute in LA where diesel/gas is close to the same price than it could be worth it but not for the majority of owners. One of the

That everyone loves? I’d take the Ram interior over any other. As well as the infotainment. The UConnect is so much more user friendly.
