I see this at my convention as well. Mostly it is caused by their show banner/products, not showing up. Or they just change their mind at the last minute. Then it’s a convenient rest stop, lunch room, garbage dump for everyone else.

Damn, the pig-snout grill has got to go. It just looks terrible. It would have been better if they just enclosed the bottom of the “RAM” instead of going up and over the top. Basically a smaller oval in a bigger oval. And no, it wouldn’t look like Ford’s which is a very narrow oval and cursive font.

Well...Duhhh

Agreed. Bigger brakes just became “popular”. That and big painted calipers look “cool”.

Travel is an excellent use of a VPN. Mine is CyberGhost and I snatched a deal where it was a lifetime subscription for the cost of a year. It shows my IP in the NYC area, or more often lately, in Manassas,VA. There are occasionally websites that will not function correctly when using a VPN but they are rare.

Unfortunately, most CC number thefts are from the merchants not the individuals. I use my CC on the net all the time and always with my VPN yet my number has been stolen multiple times over the years. Sadly, it is so commonplace, it’s not hard getting a new one.

It’s not even that. The people assigning the location are not “picking” any one place because for their use, it does not matter. It is all the other companies that use their data and make it a specific place.

Just curious, I went to the link you posted and it states 21k for towing. Where are you getting the 18K limit from that link?

Not me. I’ll argue that power products like windows, locks and keyless ignition are less maintenance, not more. Think about it, very little to no mechanical wear. Hit a button and the starter engages, no metallic parts rotating to make electrical contacts like a traditional ignition lock. Same with door locks, no key

I ran my own Carfax to match the sellers. Everything was clean. Went to trade it in 3 yrs later and the Carfax ran by the receiving dealer stated it was totaled 6 months before I bought it. Carfax is not responsible to have info updated in a timely manner so it still isn’t that safe

You mean like racing stripes on a Camaro?

I actually understand it. People just don’t give a shit anymore. To them, it’s just a tool to get from A-to-B. My nephew is like that. He hates cars and just puts up with it because he has to. He bought a Corolla, cheapest thing he could find. Even has it plastered with a CVS vinyl ad he gets paid $200 a month for.

First: it is a stupid rule but you make no sense. They’ve had the rule since they built the place!! No one is being “forced” out over a “new” rule. Gentrification is occurring all over but this does not appear to be the case.

Agreed. It is a sad truth. The closest thing to a basic utility vehicle by any large builder here in the states would be a stripped out single cab p/u. Probably mid-sized like the Nissan Frontier. Starting price, $19K. (Yet I drove off the lot in a brand new Jeep Comanche for a mere $7k in 1987.)

Unfortunately for us, that’s called a free-market. If enough people do want that crap, then it will be available, like a manual transmission. I can be the hero and build a car without any of it but I would be broke and penniless shortly there after.

Most of this can easily be incorporated without any outside connection of the car. And internet alone is not a very common feature in cars.

Huh....exact same thing my dad said about power windows. Now he won’t buy a truck without a heated seat and steering wheel.

This whole list is filled with overly specific items. the AK-47 and M16 are both on here but yet they are just two examples of a “rifle”.

Gotta have velcro and the zipper in there if you are going to have MP3. But hey, as you said, this is the list, no arguments.

Actually, it is a very unique design of lighter which is patented. Sure there are other lighters but this one works in varying conditions.
