Follow the voice in your head that says build a drift car. DO IT. Buy a clapped out rear drive anything then make it pass tech. You WILL drive the wheels off of it I promise.

Got friends on Xbox?

“These” dog boxes. Lol. Dog boxes are only limited by the shifting mechanism. Sequential rally boxes will absolutely out perform DCT’s with the only real difference being how it’s shifted [H patern vs Pneumatic Sequential]. Or the rules prohibiting ecu tuning for a “no lift shift” which could be done on this box. Not

1st is it only at idle or all the time.

Shock Loading =/= Power. Also Dog boxes can shift WAY faster than anything with a synchro in it, 900hp is not trivial in any way, and before you go bashing the technology, understand that the 6 and 7 speed sequential transmissions used in Rally and GT cars are essentially the same technology.

Windshield washer fluid.

Already finished this argument, go read my last comment. It corroding the INTAKE components is dubious. You guys keep pulling up the this MSDS stuff about storing it without even looking at the boiling point or the actual application. 158 F is the boiling point by the way, engine operating temperature is at least 180 F

No you read, Methanol injection into a freaking engine isn’t storing it there. It’s being sprayed into an engine that will easily exceed it’s 158 degree fahrenheit boiling point. The corrosion rate they give is between 0.02"-0.05" a YEAR, that is CONSTANT contact with the liquid form of methanol and as a metal gasket

Can Attack Some Aluminum Alloys” It actually seems like it would be attacking other chemical components and/or some containment is facilitating the corrosion. In the sentence above it states “Aluminum alloys are used for storage and transportation of many refined chemicals such as methanol” Therefore it is unlikely

While methanol has a lower specific heat it also has much higher vapor pressure [much lower boiling point]so it will evaporate much more readily. It would take some proper testing to determine how it affects the drop in temperature as it is likely that the water does not evaporate fully till combustion. The BIG thing

11,000 RPM 250 HP, 3 cylinder? Mazda, I found your engine for the 2020 Miata.

Now playing

9 and 3 has ALWAYS been the best way to control a car.

Even 1940's racecar drivers agree. Not a single one of these dudes is holding 10 and 2

Doesn't sound like it rev's very high at all uhhg.

You don’t “seal in the juices” that’s not what searing the steak does. Also note that the correct temperature to achieve a medium rare center is not HOT it’s 130-135 F in the center. Medium-low heat in a buttered pan. 5 min each side. Use a lid. Medium-high heat for one min each side to sear, sans lid. Let it rest

Motor =/= Engine. They are technical terms that have a very specific meaning. The other thing here is that ALL of the cars are carrying the “unapproved fuel” and like I pointed out before you would not be able to simply carry a tank of nitro-methane for giggles regardless of it’s use. And I can basically guarantee

So it’s OK to just have a tank of Nitromethane in the car eh? Every car on the field with a battery and an electric motor should be diaqualified. Not even talking about spark

If we go with your logic EVERYONE would need to be disqualified for carrying electricity on-board. Every single car on the field was carrying some amount of the un-approved fuel.

EVERYONE is disqualified for carrying electricity on-board.

1. Have heard and can hear sirens through fucking class 5 earplugs, including ones that actually play music
