More than any other, I lament the end of this series.
More than any other, I lament the end of this series.
I thought this at first, but then I realized that this game actually portrays eerily close to what would have happened had Rainbow Six failed in the novel. Bioterrorism with Ebola instead of smallpox. It honestly fits in with the other Tom Clancy games in scope.
I wish that the division wasnt shackled to the Tom Clancy name. With that name comes a style and tone that I think destiny does a better job with.
And as a Destiny fan, this news makes me indescribably happy. Hopefully the people over at Bungie are taking a good, long hard look at all the areas Ubi’s lapping them with The Division, and will improve Destiny in those ways.
One thing that this game has done better than destiny and it’s a big thing is that there are a dick load of side quests and side missions to finish after you hit level thirty. Trust me I did it last week. So the DZ isn’t the only stuff for you to do once you hit 30, and it’s definitely not the only place for you to…
I have to agree with you on this. We spent the first few days just doing missions, and went back and did clean up on the third day, getting Side Missions and Encounters. I made five levels last night just doing those and turning them in.
Along the same lines get the K-9 unit upgrade to the Security Wing asap. It will reveal all the intel in a neighborhood once you finish the missions there. Helps to complete out an area.
June from what they’ve said, so expect it January 2017.
It seems that every 2 levels there’s a main mission available, which grants a lot of exp. What I’ve been doing is, do the main mission on normal, then you’ll almost level up. Then do side missions and encounters in the area you’re in until you level up. When you’ve gained another level, do the next main mission.…
I’d say “save crafting for later” is pretty poor advice IF you are someone who regularly scavenges. It’s a whole part of the game you’re missing out on and it’s a great way to get better equipment. You’ll get tons of crap weapons/gear as you do missions, just break them down regularly. Along with scavenging the…
You missed the best tip of the game: Killing some rats gives you XP. Dogs too, in case you're wondering.
Empty your clip? Modern small arms do not use clips with the exception of revolvers. The use if a moon clip is to speed load the cartridges into the chambers. What you refer to as clips are magazines. You are lucky you did not get a chewing out for refering to magazines as clips.
A suggestion from a friend: if the game starts to drag a little, turn off the HUD (you can in the PC version, I assume you can in the console releases) and wander the city a bit. It’s a beautiful game in some regards, and a moment to simply enjoy the little nuances like Christmas decorations or arguments between two…
see, THIS is the kind of tip that is actually helpful, and does more for readers than just giving gawker more clicks
“If you no longer need your turret, cancel it by holding down the shoulder button assigned to the ability. It’ll destroy your current turret and speed up the cooldown on the next one.”
“I keep forgetting I have access to these and scraping through tough fights without using any consumables at all. Don’t be like me!”
“Use your parts to craft higher quality parts.”
“I watched a lot of these and then left without collecting them”
Hop directly to your inventory by holding down the start/options button.
Ive played to about level 12 and some of this was still new to me.
