Theoretically, Master Chief IS the alien everyone wants to kill in the first Halo. He comes in, invades the hell out of the place, and blows stuff up.

That's pretty much the point of this change in X/Y, though.
Just a clarification on this post: you don't see family anymore or couches? Because my primary place of sleep for four years was a couch. Before it became a car. I'd just hate to think an object with such great memories is going into extinction. :(
I asked this very question recently in the Nintendo 3DS Support Forums and from what I gather, the transfer covers all internal console data and the "licensing" information to play the digital games downloaded onto your SD card.
I'm not entirely convinced that this is a matter exclusive to video games and even less a matter of technology. I do believe that the study's take on the level of immersion that a video game may induce is potentially very high, but that potential is shared by other activities such as work, exercise, and substance…
You want more complex story-telling? Have you done the Looker Bureau story arc in Lumiose as the Pokemon League Champion?
It would incur a lot of perspective dissonance. What you're basically asking for is that you still play as the trainer in the overworld, interacting with other humans, catching other pokemon, etc. but then the battles would be played as the Pokemon?
Oh, if you think she is charming and funny on Ellen, I can't wait until you search for Kristen Bell + Craig Ferguson on YouTube. The sheer amount of wonderful those two exude is enough to make you a Kristen Bell fan forever.
I don't know if that's necessarily the case, though. I am by no means a professional in matters of domestic abuse, but I imagine that an abusive husband/boyfriend does not start out that way. Or, if he does, it's a lesser degree of abuse from a previous relationship.
If I might interrupt this academic discussion, I can much easier follow your end of the conversation as that's my own perspective. Men certainly do not internalize threats the same way women do and I think you're absolutely right when you say that we do not because they are irrelevant.
I know I am but one representative of my gender, but as a man, I can agree with your generalization. Men are born and raised in a world constantly empowering them, telling them that their only limitations are their own will or some other jazz that sounds like that. I'll gloss over the fact that this treatment of men…
I think this is probably the best version I've read that actually explains what's going on during a catcall.
No problem. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I did since that's really my favourite part of the Pokemon series as well. Picking one pokemon from among the myriad number and choosing him/her to be your partner is part of the magic of the game and Skylanders feels very similar to it—arguably even more so since your…
Do not listen to these heathens. Maybe our tastes differ, but I too have Fire Emblem: Awakening and Pokemon Y now on my 3DS. And while not Animal Crossing (never got into the series), I play Harvest Moon which is a similar style of game to AC.
I am absolutely astounded that an article that has to do with Brits and having primarily Brits responding to one another (mostly they to you) even has talk about America or Americans.
Meh. You're right, but it's not really a particularly new or innovative thought. Anything with a great amount of practice will get you to a skill level above the chaff.
There are barriers to females playing in competitive leagues as well and it's not really all economic—and that same argument can be used for sports programs, too, anyway.
After all, how many female pro gamers do you know? The social barriers that prevent a female professional athlete are, unfortunately, mirrored for…
More, certainly, but as ekesp93 points out, still not what would account for 70% of the gaming population (900 of the 1300 people surveyed). If it wanted to have a more accurate number, the survey might have been better to represent the >40yo demographic at 30% or 40%, which would be around 400-500 people.
Proposed title: "I Have You Jou."
Nah. I think you should be defending my right to say whatever I want about you and your soldiers. I'm pretty sure I'm right here.
