Irvine: Beige simulator
Come back when you see a dungeonmaster roll three 1's simultaneously on his d20's.
What should have been a total party wipe turned into a hilarious win.
I was always under the impression that Harvest Moon was basically a grass simulator. Since you will die dirt poor with an empty farm rivaling the great dust bowl if you don't plant grass.
If that gif comes from where I think it does, you and me share a secret.
But apparently nobody liked it enough to buy the damn thing eh?
Indeed I remember when I mentioned that once and all of these readers started threatening how the banhammer was coming and somesuch.
Then again back then it was kind of a peanut and circus atmosphere for those precious gold stars.
I wasn't really a big fan of the bomb system or Revelations in general tbh.
Most helpful new attack to learn imo is the anti-shield bash thing. (guard breaking)
Those types of guys have been complaining ever since they added wave 2 of new weapons and such. They're generally ignored.
I wonder why Sniper and Pyro (though to be fair it is the Pyro) didn't actually get any lines? That being said Soldier was stealing the show with the best ones.
I really like how they've seemed to achieve a good early balance already. Where even though team rainbow seems to have better equipment, the time limit and the fact that they have to take the initiative to make the assault works against them without putting any artificially constrained balancing factors like rank 50…
I noticed Richard tends to be the only one who doesn't get killed and acts as a respawn point.
Yeah that's the vibe I'm getting as well. I wish they'd call it that because I'm not really getting a "Victorian imagery" from it so much as an earlier age more in line with Georgian.
He's still implying though that the "imagery of the old guns" is connected to the Victorian age and from footage they're using flintlocks which is decidedly not Victorian.
"So we adopted the idea of guns, but there was a prerequisite that we didn't want the game to turn into a shooting game, and the Victorian age fit perfectly. It's an era where the imagery of old guns still remains."
Reminds me of how much I miss the Weegee series.
Yeah even though my local meta is full of Hordes players I don't particularly care for the factions involved and running a battlebox without buying one would interest me in running a side Hordes army.
Nothing is more frustrating though than being a Warmachine player, running out of focus, then watching a Hordes player…
