Well, depends if it was a carjacking or just stealing it off the street. Like, if the cops are on your tail, those bumper stickers hold true. But if you just so happened to steal it from a standstill, and nobody knows, don't draw any attention to yourself, right?

What I can't comprehend is... how hard can it be to steal a car?

Here's a very similar one to the ones we had, albeit a newer model.

Cardboard was always fun, being where I was at, there were constantly scraps around, so the wheels would randomly spin as you were driving out the docks, always a fun time.

on a flat floor, in a stand up model, with the forks all the way down, it'd be quite hard to do that. they have a surprisingly low CG when not holding anything, its more a question of when you fall out the back, and the dead man cuts in, since you can't keep your foot on it. I wouldn't even try it in a sit down…
