As I tend to be more of a fanboy, I find this whole idea to be dreadful. While I am grateful for what the X-films helped establish for the success of comic book films, they do seem a bit fragmented.

I agree about the textures & I still think that cape is too long. It doesn't matter how "super" you are, because a cape that long is just another story for Edna Mode. Also, I hope the "deadliest catch" footage isn't indicative of the overall pace, 'cause it made me sleepy.
