"We value inclusivity and diversity on our campus and all of our events and activities are going to adhere to our mission," Wyatt said. "With their political stance on gay rights and because the students of Ventura High School and their parents would be at the event, I didn't want them on campus."

They speak pretty loud when they donate gobs of money to support anti-gay stances.

Blythe Danner, is that you?

To each their own. =) It's nice to agree to disagree. Sometimes this sort of convo on Jezebel gets unnecessarily catty.

She did. Once. In the 90's. For what I feel is honestly a poor film. So since 1998, what has she done of worth short of stroking her own ego?

I'm not giving Martha a pass either. Crime is crime. I just feel like Gwyneth is not only out of touch, but super snooty too. At least Martha knows what she is.

I doubt she herself had anything to do with the success of Iron Man. The movies would be no different if she was replaced with another actress. So I'll rephrase: When was the last successful film that had her as the main ticket performer?

No. I get to make fun of ridiculous people when they do ridiculous things, especially as grown adults with massive amounts of money and privilege who should know better. Too bad these cute fluffy little dudes will grow into rapey little monsters.

When did this happen, and why did no one inform me?!

If you don't feel something during "The Origin of Love", you might be a monster.

What, what, WHAT? I neeeeeeeeed.

HBO or Showtime series. Right now. Think of it. Lesbian costume drama set in the 40's. I would watch the shit out of that.

You make an interesting point. But I also suspect that good faith judgement calls are probably less concerning to a commanding officer on the assumption they trust the judgement of their employee when it comes to giving mercy to civilians. But there's definitely some discourse to be had here about the issue.

Holy shit, that is terrifying.

Because health coverage is part of my compensation. You can't tell me what to do with my paycheck any more than you should be able to tell me what to do with my benefits. You don't get to offer someone health coverage and then pick and choose which medical issues you feel like covering. That's like paying someone in
