There's always the chance that they manage to find a decent balance between the two, similar to how they did in Final Wars, but either way I think the new one is going to be too dark and overly dramatic (like the Man of Steel and newer Batman movies).

I get what you're saying, and I totally agree that the entire argument about frame rates is pointless, but I think the issue that most people are focusing on (with frame rates just as a visual indicator) is that the same software doesn't seem to be able to run as easily on the XBOne then as it seems to on the PS4.…

It's not that I disliked XII so much as I disliked how it was a little too slow to start, and about half-way through the plot goes completely insane. Everything up to the point where the ghost/alien things appear is awesome, and the rare hunt quests were phenomenal, but the plot just didn't seem to hold together well…
