picked up a tr6 to scoot around in for the summer (never mind that it seemed to rain every other day and was so unbearably humid, the lack of AC nearly drove me insane) and i can attest that slow car fast is indeed fun!
*would have been.
i know its summer and all, but you guys really phoned this one in.
also, they tend to be, at least on german cars, only on one side (left for rhd countries), so you dont mistake them for brake lights.
i think the people who have the resources to pay 200 on a dodge have better things to do than trundle around to the various fca lots in their region looking for a build allocation , let alone doing it in the appropriate time window to actually be successful.
knowing how to use a calculator IS the math part.
-i is the plural suffix for singular-us. Not -is.
Elvis wasn’t a coke fiend. Thanks for playing!
Meh. Stay in school, intern. Or give the editor a smack for me. Thanks for the meme heads up, but your writing needs improvement.
gymnasts tend to be of small stature.
semantics. i was referring to an investment as an item/entity that has no utility other than its market value. i believe what you are referring to is a capital investment or something like that. im not an economist.
there’s some big bank/organized crime joke to be made here, but i’m too drunk to figure out the words.
uhhhh.... we do have a regulated restaurant market. try selling grilled cheese out of your garage. the health department will want to have a word. when you want to serve a nice bodied cab with your cheese sandwich, somebody will likely want you to apply for a license.
i think you mean logical, which is the exact opposite of ironic.
it’s that plus the inability to maintain the same income due to loss of fares to ridesharing. i doubt most of them looked at the medallions as investments rather small business loans.
as someone else said, the medallion is sold at auction. the man in question who bought his for $700,000 likely did so in a world prior to ride-sharing. at that point, it could have been equated to a small business loan. (oh, he more than likely took a loan out for the thing)
no, no, no... the medallion WAS worth $700,000 a decade ago. but then uber came along and made it virtually worthless. now the owner not only has to deal with a medallion not worth the loan he has out on it, but he is unable to get enough fares because of uber taking the rides as well.
