The supply of unique, high-quality games being developed for Gamers is too great. Greater than the total demand for those games, as measured by dollars spent on (non-used) copies. That is why studios get shut down. That is why people get laid off. That is why developers move to free-to-play. Gamers like you and me are

But I do believe that free-to-play has a number of advantages for players and developers alike. On the development side, a free-to-play game lowers the risk involved in making a game. A developer is able to release a high quality game that represents a fraction of the total vision, and if players think it is fun and

Take Square Enix for example. Over the past few years Square Enix has released some fantastic games for Gamers. In March, they reported physical sales of Sleeping Dogs at 1.75 million units, Hitman: Absolution at 3.6 million units and Tomb Raider at 3.4 million units. These are three fantastic games for Gamers, all

Whenever I post up something online about free-to-play, I get a tired response from Gamers. I asked Kotaku if I could respond to last Wednesday’s post to talk to all the Gamers out there who think I am a cancer ruining the industry. I know it’s hopeless; it is impossible to change someone’s mind on the internet. But I

What exactly is this "flaw"? The question was "Who do you think was more responsible for the poor response to Hurricane Katrina: George W. Bush or Barak Obama?"

They also gave a not sure response, how is their not an appropriate answer? The question who is "more responsible" ...

Good point, they recently ran a poll in Louisiana: 30% of republicans blame Obama more than W Bush for Katrina...

Passion is a double edged sword, it is unfortunate that sometimes it comes out in negative ways...

why wasn't her name millia?

"It's spending hours deciding how to allot points in each character's Lilium Orb, a graphical advancement system in which you can fine-tune your party's skills and abilities."

There really isn't all that much customization in the lilium orb, the sphere grid gave players much more control & flexibility.

I find that having to hold L2 to run freely is really annoying- why am I locked into one dimension initially? The other annoying thing is the entire aspect of teepo talking...

If it is medieval where did the semi-auto pistols come from? Well it is not like we in US will find out...

That current line up isn't horrible. The Big O was better than I thought it would be. FMA, Bleach, & Naruto are pretty well universals. Cowboy Bebop is an all timer.

Yeah- but does it play many movies or mostly just tv series?

Sci-fi's saturday Anime, loved it.

This doesn't address what to do if stretch goals are added after you've pledged. I can see why the stretch goals are not a good thing, but some people are definitely caught in between.

Where in the timeline does this dialogue take place- between them? if so is this just that extended scene america never got?

And when did "Ba-vell" become "Bevel"?

Gotcha, I didn't give that part too much weight. But if that is true then it doesn't make too much sense.

sure they paid the original discounted price before the normal markup- but now add another $30 as it is selling for way more than original retail price.

isn't illegal to increase prices just to "discount" them in a sale?

what is the trade in value they are giving people?
