I can’t speak for SheeshTheseNames, but it’s a rare month that I haven’t narrowly missed being hit by bicyclist at least twice, only because I jumped out of their way. That maneuver is getting increasingly difficult for this late middle-aged woman who uses a crutch (and this usually happens on a sidewalk, frequently

I don’t particularly care when in the story the twist happens, if it’s a stupid twist that actively offends me. I’m grateful to have saved the $3.99.

I will own up to occasionally reading spoilers concerning specific plot lines when said spoilers have been widely posted with headlines suggesting to me that I might be concerned. Is that really so unusual?

I may not be a “normal reader”, but considering the downright embarrassing amount of money I spend on comics every Wednesday, I’m the kind of reader Marvel ought care about not alienating.

This older reader read the spoiler before picking up her sub, and took Captain America: Steve Rogers #1 out of her folder and put it back on the shelf, unpurchased and unread.

Ah, it looks like we’re in total agreement.

I wish they had trap and release programs for dogs like they do for feral cats. It may not have prevented this tragedy but neuter/spay programs like that which clip the ears of strays to indicate altered animals at least keep the population smaller.

I hate to be victim-blamey, but the person who made sure to very publicly attach a name to his face? Not Amy Schumer. The dude is the one who ran to the New York Post.

Fuck Lewy body dementia even harder, as that appears to be what he was suffering from at the end of his life. Depression is one of its symptoms, but is far from its most debilitating symptom.

It’s almost as though some people find big phones most useful for their purposes, and different people find small phones more useful.

Like this one?

One more reason not to use them...the inventor was swindled by the investor group that bought his invention:

That, unfortunately, is not true. If a doctor has a religious belief that the life or health of mother is paramount over that of the fetus, that doctor’s religious beliefs are trampled if he or she is employed by a Catholic hospital. I’ve read complaints about this very thing from Jewish doctors who couldn’t perform a

Likewise in Boston. I once had someone jump in after I swiped, and couldn’t board (I’m on crutches, and had a large suitcase with me; the guy darted in when I leaned back to grab my bag).

There sure seem to a lot of people unclear on the meaning of “unsung”.

I don’t think that. It’s clear it makes you sad. The problem with your comment and many others like it is that it makes you seem emotionally fragile and unable to rationally discuss important issues - negative stereotypes that hurt women.

I’d like the toilet spatter on every other item in my bathroom to remain at a minimum.

Putting the lid down protects one’s toothbrush, towel, etc., from being caught in the microdroplet spray that extends for about 6 feet when flushing. Me, I prefer a poop-free toothbrush.
