I agree. I only played the first one, and lost interest about halfway through, but I didn't think it was anything special. Not a bad game by any means, just underwhelming.

My point is that it is a replica, so it can be easily repaired and not lose value. If it were an actual prop, it would still lose value if it were repaired.

I am aware of that, but facts are hazy on this. If it was really a replica, who cares?

So if it was a "replica" was it an actual Jeep used in the filming of the movie, or any old Jeep with a paint job?

Games aren't "art". Neither are films, paintings, or music. But any of these CAN be art.

That's the only frustrating thing for me, but they did a serviceable job on the interface (there is much more info to get across in real time than in a rhythm game).

Bottom line is that Rocksmith is an excellent teaching tool. It pushes you, it gets frustrating sometimes until you can learn the songs, but you LEARN THE SONGS. On a real guitar.
