Even any Thing?
This show is pretty great. I’m assuming that, because it’s on a niche streaming service, the geek internet isn’t talking about it.
I’ve really been enjoying it. It’s staying true to what it is, is well acted, looks pretty good (in the atheistic they are going for), decent pacing and the writing is above average.
The show is waaaaaaaaaay better than the early trailers indicated. I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it.
Thank you.
She was insufferable.
Perhaps best “besides Lando and Chewbacca.”
The producers of the Star Wars franchise allowed one writer/director freedom to fundamentally screw up so many things in the story line it will take more than one movie to get everything back on track. And that is only if they make an effort to do so. I doubt they have the will or desire to do that.
7: A coherent script written in its entirety by writers not making a hodge-podge of different, unfinished elements only meant to nostalgia pander or subvert expectations.
For me, my favorite line from HAL has always been...’Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore, goodbye.’ Calm, chilling, and badass all in one.
Hey there, what’s with the gratuitous old-folks bashing? Some of us old-school fans watch the CW all the time.
(Says the guy who remembers watching George Reeves as Superman on our old black-and-white TV, but who still watches SUPERGIRL and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW religiously.)
You know, this article could have so easily been given the opposite spin by pointing out all the homages being paid to the various incarnations of the Superman story. But nope, not only did it have to take a negative spin along with dissing a freaking tv poster, it dumps on Donner’s Superman. Which, I am sorry, is…
Also, not evil.
No, Kirk was intelligent, well-read, and compassionate.
Actually I think in these times you need the captain who dismantled a Nazi regime in a day...and that ain’t Picard.
He’s one of the best actors on the show — and, hell, I’ve liked him ever since he was in Law & Order. Sure, his role on The Flash is basically to be Team Dad, but he’s the best Team Dad ever.
Whenever Joe isn’t on, everyone should be asking “where’s Joe?”
