If it doesn't deteriorate over time and I'm unsure if I'll be able to reliably buy it at the same price or better, I stock up. If it does deteriorate, I still buy as much as I think I'll use within the calculated timeframe, again only if I'm unsure if I'll be able to reliably match the price.
@jonny6pak: Have you calculated what the sealer consumables cost? I've been thinking of getting one of these, but the bags seem expensive enough to mitigate the savings.

Except that most internet recipes suck (or are at least unreliable). I got into cooking last year, and started off using the internet for my recipes. After several near-misses and outright disappointments, I bought some respected cookbooks. The difference was amazing.
I think I missed something. All I saw was propelling a vaguely rocket-shaped object with canned air. It might as well have been a rock or a flower. Where's the liquid fuel?
All I want is an app that securely deletes the contents of my recycle bin whenever it auto-empties.
