It's been going on for me even before Space. Above and Beyond got cancelled after 1 season (but I liked so much I have it on DVD).

I'm not sure if I'm going to watch the 2nd season of Falling Skies. I really enjoyed the 1st season, which means the programming people at TNT will inevitably cancel it before it sees a 3rd season.
