Yes, removing a service persons' right to chose is always a gesture of respect. It is, by no means, insinuating that they are incapable of making their own decisions and that the rights they put their lives on the line to defend, cannot be appreciated by them while serving.

I always felt that Mario Lopez had an air of "self-centered douche bag" about him, after he cheated on his wife on their honeymoon. But the fact he named his creature after himself and used his incredible wit to include "Super," seals the deal.
