And every MOBA/Fighting Game charges for new characters too. Hell even MMO’s lock you out of new classes/areas until you buy current expansions.

Kotaku gets labeled whatever works at the time for these types of arguments for a lot of its fans. It’s journalism when it works, it’s “just a blog” when it works.
