In one of the Facebook point-and-click groups that I am in, someone justified such criticisms as a means to get the development team to change the art asethetics - he specific referenced the first Sonic movie as an example.

But fans did indeed froth at the mouth for Grim Fandango Remastered, which came out in 2015 - the same year Kotaku reviewed the original , which this article linked. It was likely reviewed by Kotaku to anticipate the 2015 remastered release.

I am a bit surprised people are making a big deal out of this - including one of my friends.  Surprised since I could have sworn Capcom implemented a"modern" with Capcom vs SNK 2 or some other fighting games of theirs.  Am I going crazy?

I feel that making a BOTW game with Sonic is a risky venture. The reason being is that Sonic is all about speed in confined spaces whereas BOTW is about exploration in open environments - the two doesn’t mesh well.

M.O.D.O.K. was recently cancelled.

I was surprised by the DC appearance as well. I was also surprised that a variation of Blacksad was shown at the end of the film snce he doesn’t have a cartoon series yet, and he seems to be a bit obscure to the general public despite being from a popular comic book. Then again, one of the creators of Blacksad was the

I am honestly not sure if that would be an issue since Zipper doesn’t speak English, yet he was given the voice of the 24/All-State guy in the movie. I feel that if they used the Swedish Chef, they would adjust the scene slightly with showing different cheeses to Chip and Dale, whereas Chip then says “stinky cheese.”

I think the only copyrighted character they avoid using by skirting around copyright/trademark is the Swedish Chef; the movie has a puppet named Bjornson.

The amount of non-disney characters appearing in this movie surpasses Roger Rabbit. They even have a Coca Cola character as a supporting character in the movie; Disney must have spent a lot on licensing to have these characters appear.

The movie is okay as in the plot isn’t something to write home about. However, the jokes and the references, which most adults in their 30s and 40s would get, makes up for the simplistic plot - I liked it, though I would give it a 5 or a 6 over 10 score.

Amother gaming site via Facebook article ruined the spoiler for me. Though to be fair, it didn’t say which movie Ugly Sonic is in - it had the ttitle to the likes of “Ugly Sonic is in a movie you less likely expect from” with a picture of him from the Chip ‘n Dale movie. Naturally, I checked thefb comments, and

The film is targeted to adults despite the plot caters to kids; I don’t think most kids today know who and what the Rescue Rangers are. Dale’s job is even an adult job.

The thing is that Ugly Sonic is more than a joke in the Chip ‘n Dale movie - he’s a supporting character. He also more scenes and lines than the other 3 Rescue Rangers.

I think the MCU and the Arrowverse have something to do with this as well.  Both universe has made the multiverse trendy.

I agree that she is smart. She even knows how to divert negative attention away from her; she even made people question whether or not she is really married or not despite that there is possible evidence in favor of it. A female twitch streamer being married usually seems to be the death of their career.

I know I am commenting to a 12 year old comment, but when it comes to haircolor in anime, one has to take in consideration the how popular hair dying is in Japan and other Asian countries. Perhaps Ashcroft can validate this, but because Japan is pretty strict when it comes to dress codes in school - they want

That is true. I remember how in the early 90s - long before the push to “make American” was a thing - American products were seen as inferior. Even the Simpsons referenced this with Marge looking at kitchen utensils, and then not buying them after being shock to learn that they were made in the USA.

That is f’ed up! It makes no sense that he was able to be any characters he wanted to, but you were only able to choose lack characters.

But toys are literal pieces of art. It takes sculptors to actually sculpt and design the toys. Therefore, it isn’t comparing apples to oranges if you are complaining video games to toys in the sense that both are works of art. Even Lego is seen as works of art.
