That is a weird Zelda image to use since if I recall correctly, it is from a fan-made animation loop where the purple Link is orally pleasuring the other three Links, hence their reactions.

Dont forget that even Kano was whitewashed to the point where he was retconned from an American of Japanese descent to an Australian of Caucasian descent because the British actor who played Kano in the original MK film was using an Australian accent. At one point Midway retconned the sub-Zero siblings as half white

I just checked, and all three are still available for free at the Blizzard website.

Blackthrone was available since I remember downloading it from the Blizzard website.

What is a bit hilarious is when Namco did went with the other direction with the introduction. Hilde in one of the later games, fans such as myself praised it; despite her breastplate outling her breast, Hilde is one of the female fighters in a fighting video game that is cover in armor from head to toe.

If you check the other comments above, VagueDreams basically wrote an inaccurate puff piece about Itagaki where he is some god that somehow made these classic Tecmo games that he had no involvement over.

Itagaki didn’t even direct Tecmo Super Bowl for theSFC - he was brought on as an artist for the game; Mr. Itagaki wasn’t even working at Tecmo when the original NES Tecmo Bowl games were in development; Shinichiro Tomie (director) and Akihiko Shimoji (programmer) are credited as the fathers of Tecmo Super Bowl.

You are giving him way too much credit on Tecmo Super Bowl. He didn’t design the game - he merely did the graphics for it.

I might be remembering wrong, but wasn’t it removed because Kasumi and her half sister were underaged in DOA 2 - it was the main reason why their ages were listed as N/A in the American releases.

No offense, but the horny direction that Namco took with the Soul Edge/Calibur series was a bit obvious especially with Taki’s gigantic areolas being still visible under his tight skin ninja suit.

To be fair, the Adventures of Mana and Secret of Mana remakes sold well enough to warrant a Trials of Mana game. Even so, because the Trials of Man Remake was being made, the first three were released in a collection pack for the Switch in Japan, and Trials was known within the gaming community due to the famous

I thought of a better example: Butz’ official localized name in Final Fantasy 5. It was likely changed to Bartz in the west since calling someone a word tthatsounds similar to a word that refers to a person’s behind seems odd.

I think the same applies to all nations when bringing a product from one coubtry to another. There is a better example on the tip of my tongue, but the title of the first Harry Potter book and the movie was changed due to concerns that American children wouldn’t be familiar with the Philsopher’s Stone.

It also makes more sense if the western PS5 changes tits mapping rather than the Japanese version since thr “X” and “O” symbols mean something over there; the “X” and “O” symbols on the context of being on the ps controllers have no significance in the west.

Other than what you have written, I am also guessing that the license to use the models’ likenesses in RE2 Remake doesn’t extend to the Netflix TV series; it would be more cost effective to use the character designs from the older games that Capcom created themselves than whipping up a new contract to use the models’

Now that I read the comment again, the confusion here is the interpretation of the phrase “ps4 owners” that Krakn3Dfx used.

That is what I basically said. I made a typo here, however:

RezzyK is right considering that the statement he quoted doesn’t make a lick of sense if it is in regards to Miles Morales standard version. To clarify, how and why would Sony offer a paid upgrade of Miles Morales if one is upgrading from the PS4 to PS5 and buying Miles Morales for the PS5 - why would Sony offer one a

She also has a great range of her emotions with her voice. I enjoyed her both as the positively happy Jessie Rasberry FF7 Remake, as well as the emotionally driven Alyson Ronan in Tell Me Why.

I had forgotten that she voice Jessie.  I enjpyed her role as Alyson Ronan in Tell Me Why a lot.
