For Spider-Man, Marvel approached Sony for an exclusive, and wanted the game to be treated with the same care. This was stated in multiple interviews with Insomniac.

I mean, among the three major consoles the Playstation is the only one with a semi legit VR set up currently. So the exclusivity here would seem to be more a consequence of the available hardware than anything else.

Driveclub got a physical release. PT didn’t, so I’d say PT is a worse situation.

Naw PT got it even worse. Driveclub will still allow you to re-download the game if you lose it.

Such a strange feeling how literal the ‘close’ of a gaming generation has become; first Reggie retiring and now Kaz. Which is unnerving because I’ve never felt so uncertain about the future of gaming. With the way the top-tier publishers are behaving it feels like we’re quite due for another crash.
