They were very clear it would just be the uncut gameplay they showed before.

Maybe 35-ish% of my TV show viewing comes from streaming services, mainly because TV shows themselves have largely moved to streaming services exclusively, lol. That’s almost the only place the medium still exists (vs. on regular television.)
lol, sorry, but you’re being obtuse. YouTube, when it was created, did not directly compete with television and movies. And even now, its existence does not seriously threaten the markets for film and television at all. If you think it does, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Netflix does, and it is…
lol, “over-competitiveness.”
That’s cool that all three are non-physical media, but if you think that everyone would just stop watching movies and TV shows because YouTube exists, you’re making a pretty laughable argument.
TV shows, I buy a little over 50% of what I watch, but a portion of the remaining 50% comes from On Demand through cable (don’t ask). Movies, almost 90% of what I watch I buy. A quick count of what I’ve seen this year is at 62 purchased and 7 streaming.
What? Sorry, but YouTube isn’t the same as Netflix or Game Pass. To think the purveyors of these subscription streaming services (Disney, Microsoft, Netflix, etc.) don’t want to strangle the life out of physical media is painfully naive.
Reject streaming services; buy games.
I don’t care what someone else was or wasn’t doing. I’m claiming that art can only be “fairly” judged within the context of when it was made and released. One can talk about whether or not something from over a decade ago is “good” in 2020, but the real way to assess that work is to consider it when it was made and…
Art should be judged in its context.
Were you paying any attention, my guy? The entire conceit of A Rift Apart is only possible with the SSD and pipeline in the PS5. All of that instantaneous dimension shifting would not be possible on current gen consoles. The sheer physics and particle density on display in that demo was extremely impressive, too, not…
Strong disagree. When people saw Ratchet & Clank, they got what made it next-gen. The little we’ve seen of Miles Morales has looked impressive. Same with Horizon Forbidden West. Halo: Infinite received the reaction it did because it looked genuinely underwhelming. For the reveal of your next-gen, marquee AAA franchise…
That’s a fun PR line and all, but if Microsoft wants to be in the Game Pass selling business, they sure as fuck better be in the console selling business.
Well, don’t hold your breath on that one.
No, this is very bad news for the console.
Because it’s a next-gen launch title for their new console?
Sorry, but that’s not really the whole story. As has been heavily rumored and confirmed by Jason, the game’s developments has been something of a shitshow.
Yeah, but the dev studio was Rockstar San Diego.
Oh, that’s been the case for years now. As it stands, Microsoft will never release another fully exclusive Xbox game. If you have a PC, there really is basically no reason you would need to buy an Xbox.
Sorry, but they could not “easily” dominate the Western market.
