Basically no chance it goes beyond 2021. Sony prefers 2021; the only thing that could change that would be Microsoft forcing their hand for 2020, which seems a bit less likely.

Kiwami was a remake, though. Totally different kind of situation. I could be wrong! But for remasters, I’d expect them to be digital only in the West.

If they were remakes, à la Kiwami, I’d think it’s be more likely. Just as remasters, it would seem to make much more sense if they were digital only here. Hopefully not, and I could certainly be wrong!

These will probably not be released physically in the West.

Hahahahahahaha.

50 % of the trees are gone in Ps4

Nausicaä actually is on sale. However, Howl’s Moving Castle is not.

I mean, those listed are some pretty damn unique games, though. Not sure there’s very many suitable replacements for those anywhere else–outside of the PS4, of course.

Game’s not out on the Switch yet. It was delayed. But the Switch version will be capped at 30 fps.

Jesus Christ, these K-pop scandals that I keep hearing about in each successive “Pick of the Day” keep getting more and more bizarre.

Well, that’s exactly what they’re saying. Those kind of games that the Switch is unlikely to get as many of are the reason they preferred Sony handhelds. “Letting go of that bias to truly get what [he] wants” wouldn’t really work, then, because he... wouldn’t actually be getting what he wants. *shrug*

Over three articles, huh? So... four? They made articles about how the trees move in the PC version but don’t on the PS4? Yeah...

Well, I don’t think anyone’s seriously stating that exclusives are the only games that matter. But when you’re comparing the game libraries of two consoles, the quantity, quality, and variety of exclusives are exactly the things that matter.

“Liar”?! Hahahahahaha. Well, okay, then.

I mean, yeah, their comment says that the console has no games, which is silly and wrong. But, really, their comment is using hyperbole to point out the absolute Marianas Trench-sized gap between the number of exclusive games on the PS4 and the number on the Xbox One. And that... is not silly or wrong.

On this list, Mortal Kombat is the most accurate; Guillermo del Toro is the least accurate.

It totally can. A high percentage of positive reviews doesn’t say anything about how positive those reviews are, i.e. whether they’re 9s and 10s or 6s and 7s.

That’s fascinating! I did not know that, somehow. Thank you.

Me: What is a misleading headline from 2015?

It’s absolutely worse than numerical ratings. (But I have a soft spot for numerical ratings. Don’t tell anyone.)
