Wow, you sure do know a lot about these games—certainly enough to be judging which is and isn’t the game of the generation. I can tell because you didn’t even recognize the fucking main character of one of them in the joke .gif I posted.

How about this one:

I don’t know. Do .gifs lie?

Also, you’re completely wrong:

Cool. Let us know what you think.

Oh, yeah, that’s so creepy. It’s so hard to click on someone’s name.

Yeah, somewhat. I mean the destination of where the narrative goes (when it’s there) is fantastic. But the journey along the way is a necessary counterpoint. In another sense, each colossus is a destination with a solitary, contemplative prior journey to them, and each colossus feels unique and challenging and epic

*Looks at baez130's post history.*

No, I understand. What I’m saying is that the game is better because you only go and kill colossi. The fact that there’s only 16 belies the quality of the overall game. I know you weren’t asking those questions with some kind of cynical skepticism (though, many might), but because of the answers you’ll receive and

Agro was brought to the Forbidden Lands by Wander. There are birds, lizards, fish, tortoises, and bats throughout the game world. Other than these, there are no large animals to be found. The extremely rare interactions you can find with the tortoises or by riding a fish or bird are the rare treat only for those who

Much more fauna would definitely undermine the themes and atmosphere of the game. More flora doesn’t really feel necessary, at all, to me. There’s a lot of diversity to the different areas of the world.

Sometimes beauty is all you need. Nothing would be gained by adding much else to the world, the gameplay loop that’s so frequently lauded would be disrupted, and the core themes of the game would be undermined.

Yeah, but in Shadow the music is awesome, and each colossus is a totally different puzzle, and the whole open world is kickass.

I’m really not trying to be dismissive, here, but you’re kinda asking the wrong questions when it comes to this game. Do you know what I mean?

No, Chris is referring to a new coin collectible, not the fruit and lizards.

Why? In Adventures of Link you just walk around and stab things with a sword. Then you wander around and do it again. Whoopdedo.

Other people have already tackled the points of your comment more directly, but I’m just going to comment on how utterly ridiculous everything you’re saying is.

Thank god. Fuck this guy.
