I noticed that some had it and some didn't but never bothered to research it. Thanks for that, yo!

Perhaps it could have been written more clearly but the point was, the Crown Vic is probably more fun to drive and easier to look at than this NV200.
4th gear: I'd be pissed too if I had to go from RWD V8 Crown Vic to.... that thing.
My AMG has a hood ornament. It's a 2006 though. I didn't know they had a system for which cars get it and which ones don't.
It's not really ratting out a customer, if Cam was particularly concerned with anonymity he could have sent one of his friends/entourage/representatives or whoever to go buy it for him.
"But If I wake up without my car, I may be late. Nearly an unforgivable mistake in the NFL."
Audi R8. Supercar looks for sure, but no supercar excitement. The 4.2 can be found in a multitude of other commuter cars, and it doesn't put out the kind of performance you'd expect from a car that looks like that. People say the 5.2 is a cut-rate or "poor man's" Gallardo... but for $150k+ I wouldn't want…
not sure if troll or just dumb
In my experience the eastern half of the state is inundated with highway patrols. Can't say for sure how it is out west.
Seconded
That motor is amazing, but imagine what it would be like to drive with their 6.0 liter Biturbo V12 from the S/CL/SL 65 AMG. Personally, I'd have preferred that engine.
Actually, you'd be surprised what you can get for under $100k in the CPO/used market. Found mine with only 5k miles.
With 604 hp and 738 lbs-ft of torque to the rear wheels, power isn't the problem. Weight and aero are.
'06 S65 AMG. Even without the limiter there's no way that thing goes above 200. It has the power, just not the aerodynamics.
One of my cars is electronically limited to 155 mph but the speedo goes up to 220 mph. It's a bit much.
No I've never driven a car with a full cage and harness on the street. Cars with full cages and harness are meant to be driven fast — the street is not the place to do that. That's what my daily driver is for. The car outfitted with the cage and harness is for the track, where I will indeed be wearing a helmet.
I should have elaborated more on my initial post, read the other commenter's replies for reasons why a daily driver should not have a cage.

I chuckled at this
This is why a roll cage and 5 point belts should be near the top of the list when building/modifying a car, along with brakes and proper tires.
