The Middle East has no requirement for crash worthiness testing. Great market for manufacturers making very limited production vehicles that don't want to spend the resources on destroying as much as 20% of your planned output doing testing.

At least SOMETHING on this car was designed to be light weight.
SpaceX is testing their tech as part of actual commercial launches (which are already the cheapest way to get stuff into space). The DC-X apparently went nowhere, so it didn't really change anything.
The extra fuel burned is cheaper than building a new rocket every time. How is commercial air travel economically feasible? Turnaround. A soft, dry landing allows for a quick turnaround, hence lower overall cost. Even a recoverable wet landing would require a complete rebuild. Considering the cost of the actually…
Amusingly, the scramjet is only that little bit at the tip of the rocket. The rocket itself is an SA-5 (S-200), capable of Mach 8 on its own. Having to carry the little scramjet on the front significantly reduced its top speed.
Also little known fact, Bladerunner is the greatest Science-Fiction movie of all time.
Shame that they missed the opportunity to launch it on Earth Day.
At a maximum speed of 315km/h, the CH-47F Chinook is the world's fastest military helicopter. Manufactured by Boeing Defense, Space & Security, the Chinook is capable of performing multiple missions and was first fielded by the US Army's operational unit in July 2007 for the transportation of troops, artillery,…
I'm sorry but I laughed when he was launched. I know I'm a terrible person but the sound was just too much. I couldn't stop laughing when the guy pulled over either and the motorcyclist just stayed still on the roof like, "Might as well take a nap while I'm up here, this guy seems to be driving me to the hospital."
I'm giving that guy a pass. It's not every day a motorcyclist lands on your roof. He was probably a little confused at the moment.
tested an e92 m3 beore i bought my c63. the m3 on regular roads and traffic is just like any boring 328, only less comfortable. the c on the other hand snorts and growls and wiggles its tail around when you floor it from a stop, even with esp on. guess which one i went with? :P
I was a very loyal CO customer prior to the merger with UA. I felt like CO took to heart their advertising slogan: "Work Hard. Fly Right." They had good customer relations and a ton of amenities (in-flight movies and free "meals" on longer flights) that other airlines had cut long before. I appreciated that CO seemed…
The interior is bric-a-brac central. Surf cabin meets B29 Liberator. Yes, it has an electric pizza oven and a tailgate bar in the rear, with a TV for outdoor party viewing. It's not quite what you guys recommended, but for a party bus, it's serious stuff. Check out the entire build here, here and here.
Bingo. I used to go way out of my way to fly American...to go to Tampa I'd connect thru Miami when I had direct flights available on other airlines. Not any more. The new American fare structure is just plain obtuse. I like Southwest's three levels that depend on when you buy them. No hassle. No add on charges…
Last time I had United's garlic bread I had my own evacuation slide..
Maybe they should fix the whole constantly being late and unfilled seats issue. Maybe they should figure out how to make more money or real cost-cutting measures as opposed to pedantic bullshit that affects 1/30th of the passengers.
Well its certainly up there...it's 100x more engaging than an RS4 or RS5...certainly a better driving tool than a C63.
"British beef" sounds just as reassuring as Chinese dog food or Japanese nuclear safety.
Hey, Horatio Pagani is no Steve Jobs... I do find Christian von Koenigsegg to be a stickler for details, even the most minute.
no, the hood scoop is the horn. Just incase they dont hear the car over the sound of the engine.
