Geez, I thought Kinja was broken when I came here this morning... I can't believe this was a conscious decision. I had just come to terms with Kinja's good and bad (mostly bad) and now it's worse. Hurray.

Thirded. $20k or less would be fantastic.
Freaking awesome. No other words to describe this.
Brilliant.
Oh geez. Amazing footage, glad to hear everyone's going to make full recoveries.
I've seen this car in person a few times. It's good work, but I wouldn't want to own it. I wouldn't want a Festiva anyway, adding a turbo doesn't make me want it any more.
That's awesome. Good job Evan's dad for helping your kid have fun.
Can't think of anything to ask, but just wanted to say you folks are both awesome, and crazy in equal measure.
Heh. Nice. Makes sense that it wouldn't be too bad. I ride a motorcycle and the wind noise without earplugs is annoying even with a full face helmet, but I do end up tuning it out. My only experience with a rally helmet is my dad's old rally helmet from the '80s, and I was using it as a fighter pilot helmet for a…
Oh, nice! Did you even have an exhaust left at that point? LOUD! How obnoxious was it in the car? I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
rally-america.com The event near Duluth already ran this year. There may be rallies that aren't associated with Rally America near you, I have no idea. National level Rally America rallies are what you want to go to if you want to see the fastest cars in the US, but regional rallies tend to have more interesting cars…
Awesome :) What car # were you?
Freaking awesome.
There are regional rallies southwest of Duluth. Depending on where you are in SD, not that far.
Speaking as someone from the US... I agree with you. I ride my motorcycle or drive a stick shift truck every day. I've driven modified cars that would make your left leg feel like jello after a few minutes of holding the clutch down in Philadelphia traffic, but I've never wished for an automatic.
I'm glad you were going to include that, but it's too bad that didn't make it.
What about getting your ass up out of the chair and going to watch a rally in person? I've been going to STPR off and on (mostly on) since before I was born. Yeah, you don't get to see all of the action that you do on TV, but nothing beats the smell of race gas while being pelted with gravel. I've uploaded plenty of…
At least Stig's American cousin was geographically correct. This is just stupid, the guy is clearly not from West Virginia.
Yup. Yay sensationalist headlines.
Classy to use a pic from Ryan Dunn's crash for 5th gear. /facepalm
