@pj134: very true...

@ferric oxide: I'm guilty of a few launches myself. The abuse isn't a big deal on the second gen cars, assuming you're not beating on a beat car.

@KillerRaccoon: :D The only negatives of the 3000gt are the weight and age. The most random crap just breaks, but it's generally cheaper than German parts.

@bmoreDLJ: I'd imagine nobody would even give you a second glance either. The Schuylkill Expressway sucks, it seems like there's a crash or two daily.

@pj134: totally off topic, but I used to live just as close when I was a kid. Was awesome seeing the planes fly over at ~400 feet

@wheatieboy: My experience with Toyotas is apparently worse than yours. My old Supra was a rust bucket because of a known issue from the factory. My dad's pickup is rusting as well, and even worse, it's constantly breaking parts for no good reason. Plus, when something does break, you can't normally just press in a

@wheatieboy: Maytag has been building nicer appliances for eons.

@two wheels are enough: Definitely a bad idea to use DOT-5 on cars that call for the older DOT-3 stuff. Eats seals and will leak. DOT-5 also doesn't work well with ABS, according to some people.

I downloaded a four and a half hour documentary about all the tech behind WRC. This got me well in the mood for it. Thank you.

I'm not sure, but that last pic may have just caused a nice hardon.

Drifted across 90% of a bridge sideways at 70mph.

@Bruthah: Nope, everyone had AWD. They proved their point and left the sport when Group B was killed.

@agies: except this is on I76 after it splits from the Turnpike, IIRC

@ruthless013: They do write notes during the stage. Well, tweak notes they've already written or mark dangerous stuff, but still.

@twinturbo2: You mean besides the lack of a 917. That car would make Forza complete for me. This 908 would be one hell of an addition though.

What an awesome guy. I salute you, man with more car love than fiscal sense.

'88 Supra, non-turbo. Changed the oil a few times, and replaced the rear shocks. Besides freak accidents like blown tires, it was easy to take care of, especially compared to my "new" car.

@cromartie: The standard roof isn't hard? Sorry if my wording confused you, I tend to forget that hardtop convertibles are practically standard now.

Looks better than the hardtop...
