George: the SLS boosters produce 3.6 million lb/ft thrust each. Not sure how you got the 9.2. Could it be that you got combined thrust (2 SRB’s and the 4 or 5 RS-25's burning at launch) mixed up?

Got a couple of nits to pick with this (sorry):
If you really want to get into the weeds on the inflatable structures in space issue, I recommend you check out project Echo.
I came here to say just this. The airlock was far less complex and never intended for extended/long duration use.
So the total drop time is probably something like 15 seconds, only 4.74 if which would be in free-fall conditions. With a catapult aimed down, they get to target acceleration and velocity faster, giving you more time in free-fall.
I finna’ give you a star for that!
This is almost exactly how I finally quit as well. Cold turkey was a disaster and the patch made my cravings worse. Glad to see it worked for someone else!
Check out the old BBC series Red Dwarf! You’re welcome! (PS: it’s a comedy.)
Also, depending on the payloads destination, it may be better to launch from as close to the equator as possible. The easiest way to do that is to launch from a barge in the ocean (which is done somewhat regularly by the European Space Agency via https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Launc…), and so landing on the same…
Fair enough... reserved may have been a better term than soft-spoken. Though I would argue that “soft-spoken” and “bad-ass” are not mutually exclusive traits!
That we know of! :)
That’s interesting that you see Jyn and Rey as so similar. To me, Rey is much more soft spoken, humble and excitable (thinking of her reaction to the Falcon, Han, etc.). Whereas, at least in this trailer, Jyn comes across as arrogant, coarse and bitter. This could be a result of her orphaning/abandonment at a later…
Isn’t that the point?
The mounting locations are there, but for whatever reason, they’re just not installed for the photo. I’m guessing this photo was “in process.”
Nice video, but they should have traded the Genesis modules for a bit on Almaz. I personally don’t think Genesis qualifies as a station since they were too small for and were never intended to have a crew.
Either as a number from Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas or Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Usually Huntsville though, if I remember correctly.
That second pic of the twin funnels is like a great big double F*CK you!
I don’t know about the writers of Giz, but having worked in one of her buildings to install an exhibit, I can tell you they’re a hot mess to work in. It’s like all looks and no substance/practicality!
Interesting idea, about Snoke being ancient. Though he looks too human. I’d be more inclined to think he’s Palpatine or a clone of Palpatine.
Came here to say much the same thing. While they single handedly killed the Emperor and took out the Deathstar II, they were not the only ones responsible for the Galaxy as a whole. And while look MAY have screwed up with Kylo/Ben, you can’t blame Luke for his creation anymore than you could Obi-Wan for Vader’s. I’d…
